Why Are White Women the Face of Trump's Fascism?

Upholding the patriarchy never works

As a white woman, I feel a responsibility to name what’s happening right now. It’s not just terrifying. It’s shameful. Numerous white women are actively upholding Trump’s authoritarian, fascist regime.

A few examples:
🔹 Pam Bondi, Attorney General, literally lied in the Oval Office to justify deporting an innocent man to a foreign gulag.
🔹 Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security, posed smiling in front of that same gulag, a grotesque photo-op meant to intimidate and terrorize immigrants.
🔹 Karoline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary, is the Liar-in-Chief, wielding her righteous indignation as she spins and defends the indefensible with cold precision.
🔹 Andrea Lucas, acting Chair of the EEOC, is stripping away hard-won protections for trans women and other vulnerable workers under the guise of “neutrality.”

And these are just the visible ones. Behind the scenes, white women are signing off on policy memos, managing disinformation campaigns, and enforcing harmful laws with a smile and a spreadsheet.

So here’s my question for all white women: Is your proximity to power really worth it What are you getting from this allegiance, other than crumbs and complicity?

The rest of us not speaking out must ask ourselves:
==> Why is our silence so easily bought?
==> Why is our discomfort so fragile, but our loyalty to white patriarchy so sturdy?
==> Why are we still willing to trade the safety of others for the illusion of our own?

We’ve seen this story before, obviously, it's the only way white supremacy remains standing and advances. We’ve watched white women vote, organize, and justify, over and over, for those who do real harm.

We cannot look away. We cannot wring our hands. We cannot say “not all white women.” This is the time to intervene, with each other. This is the time to risk our comfort and stand between power and the people it wants to crush.

White women: we are either part of the resistance, or part of the machinery.

There is no neutral here. Who is with me?
